What does Mixed Maintenance do?
We provide reliable, high-quality garden maintenance on a monthly subscription basis. Each tier includes a structured list of tasks designed to keep your garden looking consistently tidy with minimal effort from you.
Which tier should I choose?
Tier 1 is for small, simple gardens.
Tier 2 suits medium gardens that need more regular care.
Tier 3 is for high-care gardens or clients who want the most hands-off experience.
Can I change tiers later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time — just give us notice before your next billing cycle.
Do you offer one-off work?
Yes — hedge cutting and jet washing are available as one off add-ons.
Do I need to be home?
No. As long as we can access the garden, we can complete the work.
Watering
Which tiers include watering?
Only Tier 3 includes seasonal weekly watering.
Do pots count?
Yes, if they’re easily accessible with your hose.
Visit Scheduling & Time
When will you visit?
Your visit days and timings will be agreed on when you join.
Can I request a specific time?
We operate in route-based zones, so exact times vary. Time windows can be requested but not guaranteed.
How long is each visit?
Tier 1: 2 × 1.5 hr
Tier 2: 2 × 2 hr
Tier 3: 4 × 1.25 hr
(Plus seasonal weekly watering for Tier 3 only)
What happens if you finish early?
The monthly fee covers the tasks, not the minutes. Some months require more time, some less.
Pricing & Billing
How do you take payment?
Monthly via bank transfer or standing order.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes — referral discounts and Tier 3 add-on discounts.
Do you charge VAT?
Not currently.
Services and tasks
Do you take away waste?
Waste collection is an add-on (prices vary based on volume). Tier 3 receives 5% off.
Does mowing include strimming?
Yes — mowing and strimming are done together.
What type of weeding is included?
Tier 1 includes light weeding.
Tier 2 and 3 include full bed weeding.
Do you do planting?
Planting is available if you supply the plants.
Can I add extra tasks?
Yes — any visit can include add-ons from the add ons selection.
Cancellations & Changes
Is there a contract?
No contract — just monthly billing.
Can I pause visits?
Yes, for holidays or special circumstances.
What if I move home?
You can transfer service if the new location is within our operating area.
